About Us

The Flint River Regional Library System was founded in 1949.  Our service area includes the six West Central Georgia counties of Butts, Fayette, Lamar, Monroe, Pike and Spalding, covers 1,392 square miles and serves a population of 249,691 persons.

Our member libraries contain over 386,193 items and circulate almost 2,000,000 items each year!
