I have been working as a public librarian for over 15 years in both Georgia and South Carolina.  I have worked in Children's Services, Reference Services, and Technical Services,  and have spent more than a few years working with Information Technology and Community Networking from a public librarian's perspective.

I love my pets, dogs and birds, and am a member of the Pet Industry Joint Advisory Council (PIJAC).  I have also been certified by PIJAC as a "Certified Avian Specialist", and am the author of Avian First Aid:  For Your Companion Bird.

I am also a member of the Georgia State Defense Force and currently hold the rank of Private (E-2).

And, just in case you should happen to need one, I am also a Notary Public!
